Canon Utilities My Camera 7.0.1.8 is the latest version of this free software we can get free as part of the Eos Utility CD package after purchasing a Canon Digital Camera. This piece of software has been designed to allow us to create units with both image and audio and save them as a single item. We can access this program via Start, Canon Utilities, Camera Window, MyCamera. After opening the Dialog Box we can start setting up as a theme by choosing one of the 32 Themes provided along with Sound (selected from Start-up Sound, Shutter Sound, Operation Sound and Self Timer Sound). We can also set up individually, by selecting the Data Type for Start-up Images, both from common cameras and some DV Cameras. We can easily select the image/s we want from our directory tree and add a sound. Next we are transferred to My Camera Maker Interface to go on creating images with sound plus basic editing like cropping. Once finished we can upload the content we have created to the camera and have access to it through the camera menu. Alternatively, we can download the content of MY Camera file from the camera to our computer.
